This low maintenance deciduous

shrub is noted for is changing color throughout the year.

The leaves emerge bronze-red, then change to yellow-green by summer, and finally fade to a yellow-orange copper color in fall.  It becomes covered in lovely rose pink clusters of blooms from June to July, which attract butterflies.  To promote continued blooming dead head the spent flowers.
